Lavender:
Lavender is an old favourite now with keepers of Orpingtons, mainly in the Large. I sourced my bantam hen from Bob Follows early in 2009, and the standard of his work to breed such a typy hen is something that I admire. I think I cannot improve on the hen, I can only try and get a cockerel bred from her that is a good enough standard. I have several young stock from her this spring, and some are showing promise, as well as being a good Lavender colour.
