Cuckoo:
Cuckoo with its strong markings is a very striking colour in any setting, very cheery birds they deserve to be more popular, hopefully with the standards being re-submitted for 2012, they will gain a few more devotees. I have started work on crele, lavender, blue & lemon cuckoo and hope they look as good as the black, time will tell. At the end of 2011 I showed the cuckoo hen at the PCGB National show and achieved a 2nd place.
