Chocolate:
It has been a very expensive time recently for enthusiasts of this colour, Now it seems to have settled down and more people can enjoy keeping them: Chocolate as a colour is very much like the Buff, it needs the right light to set it off, its a cheery bird, if a little prone to being broody. I have had chocs since I hatched some eggs from Rob Boyd ages ago, just for the enjoyment of them. I now have three different lines, one of which is mottled, I hope to have proper mottle chocs available in 2012. As well as crossing to black: choc can be crossed to blue/splash, the result is called Mauve, the last pictures show one of my Mauve pullets.
